According to a centuries-old tradition, on 31 December 1559, our ancestors scared off the Turkish army threatening \u201eSzoboszl\u00f3\u201d with the sound of trumpets and the cracking of whips - an event we still remember today when Heroes' Square fills with revelers.
The traditional programme is accompanied by musical concerts and spectacular show elements:
- 17:45 - a spectacular fireworks display lights up the city sky
- 18:00 - Attila K\u00f6k\u00e9ny and Viktor Rakonczai will give a concert on the stage to create an intimate, yet dynamic atmosphere
- 19:15 - the Just Showband brings you the biggest party hits so that no one is left without dancing
- from 21:00 - DJ Strobi spins the records until the late hours of the evening
