National Library Days in Hajd\u00faszoboszl\u00f3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 5 to 10 October 2026, visitors are invited to enjoy a range of free events as part of National Library Days. Throughout the week, the programme will feature book launches, literary and community events, a book club, a drawing competition and a book fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5 October (Monday), 5.00 pm<\/strong>
    My grandmother explains<\/strong> \u2013 A journey through time to Szatm\u00e1r with film, sound and text
    An interactive book launch by the author Adrienn Csepelyi.

    6 October (Tuesday), 5.00 pm<\/strong>
    Fantasy Book Club<\/strong>
    A brand-new book club for lovers of fantasy books and stories.
    Location:<\/strong> adult library<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7 October (Wednesday), during the day<\/strong>
    An unconventional literature lesson G\u00e1bor Bessenyei<\/strong> with a children\u2019s and young adult author, for organised school groups.

    7 October (Wednesday), 5.00 pm<\/strong>
    Reading as mental wellbeing \u2013 literary therapy at the library<\/strong>
    Subject: \u201eOne is defenceless when one loves\u201d \u2013 The armour we weave around ourselves<\/em>
    The session will be led by Ildik\u00f3 Szil\u00e1gyi, a bibliotherapist.

    From prison back into society<\/strong>
    M\u00e1rta Tak\u00e1cs-Mikl\u00f3si<\/strong>, an assistant lecturer at the Department of Cultural Studies and Humanities, Institute of Education and Cultural Studies, University of Debrecen, will be holding an interactive book launch.

    What makes you happy?<\/strong> Announcement of the results of the school art competition entitled [Title].

    Book Fair<\/strong>
    Anyone interested can \u201eadopt\u201d books that have been removed from the collection.

    During National Library Days, everyone is welcome to register free of charge. This week also marks Forgiveness Week, during which all late return fees under 5,000 Ft will be waived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As part of the programme series, prizes will be awarded to both the youngest and oldest members of the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
