The Hajdúszoboszló Tourism Public Benefit Non-profit Limited Liability Company is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible in accordance with Act LXXV of 2018 to ensure that its website is accessible.
This accessibility statement applies to the hajduszoboszlo.hu website and its foreign-language versions. The statement does not cover external websites and independent services linked to from the website, such as Hungarospa or the accommodation providers’ own booking platforms.
Compliance status
Due to the non-conformities and exceptions listed below, this website only partially complies with Act LXXV of 2018, namely the WCAG 2.1 „AA” level requirements referred to in the MSZ EN 301 549 standard.
Content that is not accessible
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons.
Failure to comply with Act LXXV of 2018
- A map of Hungarospa on the homepage. The map is based on an image of the spa’s printed map; therefore, screen readers do not read out the labels and numbers on it, and the different sections are distinguished by colour. The map can only be moved (by dragging) using a mouse or by touching the screen. Accessibility alternative: the section buttons above the map and the „Legend” list can also be used via the keyboard; they list the sections and numbered facilities in text form and provide a text description of the selected section.
- Description of the photographs. On the information sheets for accommodation, catering establishments and events, the alternative text for the photographs includes the name of the venue and the image number; it does not describe the content of the image. The description of the venue is provided in the text of the information sheet and the list of facilities.
- Advertisements. The text appearing in the advertising images created by advertisers is not included in full in the image’s alternative text; only the name of the advert is included.
- Editorial subpages and downloadable documents. We have not yet carried out a comprehensive assessment of the accessibility of the website’s previously uploaded text-based subpages and downloadable documents. These may contain incomplete heading structures, images without descriptive text, or scanned PDF documents that cannot be read by screen readers. Upon request, we can also provide their content in an accessible format.
A disproportionate burden
In drawing up this declaration, we do not invoke the argument of a disproportionate burden.
The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation
- Online maps and map services (Section 1(3)(f) of Act LXXV of 2018): the site maps included in the information sheets and the spa map. We also provide the addresses of the sites and the essential information required for reaching them in written form.
- Third-party content (Section 1(3)(g)), which we have not financed or developed and over which we have no control: embedded Instagram and Facebook content, Google reviews, and the service providers’ own promotional videos.
- Documents published before the Act came into force on 30 November 2018 (Section 1(3)(a)), except for those containing information relating to the performance of essential public duties.
Solutions to promote accessibility
- At the top of the home page, you can adjust the font size and enable the high-contrast view; the browser’s zoom function can be used on every page.
- Using the keyboard, you can skip the header and the menu by clicking the „Skip to content” link.
- Thermia, Tourinform’s digital assistant, is available both in writing and via voice calls, so everyone can ask questions in the way that suits them best. The Tourinform office can also help over the phone: +36 30 200 5665.
