Home-made pizza-baking competition

A special culinary event awaits those interested, where delicious flavours, creativity and a sense of community take centre stage!

The atmosphere of the previous, hugely successful beer-brewing event has inspired another community programme: this time, pizza-making enthusiasts can put their skills to the test in a friendly, good-natured competition.

At the event, local pizza makers will showcase their expertise and creativity. Participants will arrive at the park with their own ingredients and equipment – even their own ovens – where they will prepare their pizzas in two categories: alongside the classic Margherita, they will also enter a pizza of their own choosing with a unique combination of toppings.

The finished delicacies will be judged by a panel of experts, but visitors will also have the chance to have their say, as there will be a people’s choice award. The programme will be rounded off with a pizza tasting and an awards ceremony.

However, the event is much more than just a culinary competition. Its primary aim is to provide an opportunity for informal get-togethers, shared experiences and meaningful conversations. The previous beer-brewing event also demonstrated just how valuable such occasions are, when people can connect with one another in person, away from the clamour of the digital world.

The organisers warmly welcome everyone interested to a delightful community event, rich in flavours and experiences, where, alongside the competition, a great atmosphere and time spent together take centre stage.

We will provide information on the exact date, venue and further details of the event shortly.
