On 3 October, the Mátai Stud Farm in Hortobágy will once again be welcoming visitors to the Barango-LÓ family event. The event focuses on horses, equestrian traditions and the shepherding culture of Hortobágy.

After registering at the Nyerges Presszó information desk, participants will receive a map-based route card, after which they can visit various stops and complete fun tasks.

During the programme, visitors can look forward to, amongst other things, a carriage museum, pottery-making, the stud farm, the sports stables, traditional costume fittings, as well as demonstrations of horse grooming and shoeing. Children under the age of 14 will also have the opportunity to go horse riding, subject to limited availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.
