From 1 to 2 May, spectacular air shows, family-friendly activities and a May Day atmosphere await visitors at Hajdúszoboszló Airport.
Visitors are invited to a two-day event at Hajdúszoboszló Airport on 1–2 May 2026. The programme includes aerobatic displays, family-friendly activities, concerts and May Day celebrations.
Admission to the event is free, although some services may be subject to a charge.
1 May – Aviation Open Day
Special guest: Péter Besenyei
Programmes include, amongst others:
- Aerobatics display by Péter Besenyei
- Hot-air balloon rides (early morning and early evening)
- Powered and gliding flight
- Paragliding flights all day long
- Military parachute jump display
- Drone and model-making demonstrations
- Aircraft demonstrations, theoretical introductions and an IPP information session
- Interactive departmental presentations
- Presentations on the airport’s past 40 years
