
Japanese culture, art and traditions are brought to life in a special anniversary exhibition.
The art exhibition entitled „Treasures of Japanese Culture: the 45th Anniversary of the Toyama–Hajdú-Bihar Cultural Partnership” offers a special programme for those interested in Japanese culture.
The event marks the 45th anniversary of the cultural ties between Toyama and Hajdú-Bihar.
Deputy Director Róbert Kocsis will welcome the guests, and the exhibition will be opened by Deputy Mayor Petronella Majoros and Maszanori Takagucsi, Director of the Japan Foundation’s Budapest Office.
Tibor Szólláth, President of the Tojama–Hajdú-Bihar Association, will give the opening address.
The programme will feature performances by the Filiae Solaris Choir from Hajdúszoboszló, the Tojama Association, the Debrecen Drama Studio and members of the Szép Ernő Theatre.
The programme was put together by István Pinczés, a director who has won the Jászai Mari Prize and the Uchimura Prize.
