The memorial house, now a museum, gives an insight into the daily life of Péter Veres, where you can get to know his work, his various works and objects of daily use.

The former home of the writer and politician is a folk monument. The three-storey farmhouse has small divided windows in the adobe walls and a thatched roof, which is typical of the region and is now a rarity even in Balmazújváros. The writer lived his everyday life here until the mid-1940s, when political life called him to Budapest
