These rules set out the terms and conditions of the prize draw entitled „Vote for the revamped hajduszoboszlo.hu and win a 3-day stay at Hotel Aurum!” (hereinafter: the Prize Draw). By taking part in the Competition, you agree to these rules.
The organiser of the game
The Game is organised by the Hajdúszoboszló Tourism Public Benefit Non-profit Limited Liability Company (registered office: 4200 Hajdúszoboszló, József Attila utca 2-18, company registration number: 09-09-017830, tax number: 14960079-2-09; hereinafter: the Organiser). Who can take part?
Any natural person aged 18 or over who has legal capacity, a registered address or place of residence in Hungary, and a Facebook or Instagram account containing genuine personal details may take part in the Competition (hereinafter: ‘Player’).
Employees of the Organiser and Hotel Aurum, those involved in the running of the Competition, and their close relatives as defined in the Civil Code, are not eligible to take part.
Duration of the game
A Játék 2026. november 6. 2027. január 15. 23:59-ig tart. Az ezután írt hozzászólások nem vesznek részt a sorsoláson.
How can I take part?
- Vote for hajduszoboszlo.hu (entry title: Hajdúszoboszló Town Tourism Website) In the public vote for ‘Website of the Year 2026’, and confirm your vote using the link in the email.
- Post a comment saying „I’ve voted!” under the post announcing the competition on the Organiser’s Facebook or Instagram page.
Each player has one chance to enter the prize draw, even if they post multiple comments or comment under both posts. Sharing the post and tagging friends are not required to take part.
Voting takes place on the ‘Website of the Year’ competition’s own website, in accordance with its rules; the Organiser has no influence over this process and has no access to the votes cast. The Organiser therefore does not verify whether votes have been cast; all entries that meet the above conditions will be included in the prize draw.
The Organiser will exclude from the Competition any comments that are offensive, unlawful, or that have clearly been posted from a fake or automated account.
The prize
A nyeremény 1 darab ajándékutalvány 3 nap, 2 éjszaka félpanziós szállásra a Hotel Aurum**** szállodában (4200 Hajdúszoboszló, Mátyás király sétány 3.), 2 fő részére.
Az utalvány 2027. december 31.-ig váltható be, előzetes időpont-egyeztetéssel. A szállásra utazás költségei és az utalványban nem szereplő szolgáltatások (például az idegenforgalmi adó, ha a szálloda azt külön számítja fel) a nyertest terhelik.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or for any other prize.
Prize draw
A sorsolás időpontja: 2027. január 20. A nyertest a Szervező véletlenszerűen, sorsolóprogrammal választja ki.
The Organiser will draw 1 winner and 2 runners-up. If the winner does not meet the entry criteria or fails to respond within the deadline, the prize will go to the runner-up in the order in which they were drawn.
Notification and presentation of the prize
The Organiser will notify the winner within 3 working days of the prize draw via a reply to their comment and a private message. The winner must provide their name, email address and telephone number in a message within 5 days of receiving the notification, along with the information required to fulfil any tax obligations relating to the prize.
The Organiser will present the voucher to the winner by email or in person at the Tourinform office (4200 Hajdúszoboszló, Szent István Park 1–3). With the winner’s consent, the Organiser will publish the winner’s name or profile name in the post announcing the competition.
The Organiser shall not be held liable if the winner fails to receive the notification due to their own fault (for example, incorrect details or restrictions on messaging) or fails to reply within the deadline.
Taxes and costs
Any taxes and contributions arising in connection with the prize, which are payable by the payer in accordance with the law, shall be paid by the Organiser. Participation in the Game is free of charge; the Player may only incur the usual costs of internet access.
Data processing
The data controller is the Organiser. In order to run the Competition, the Organiser processes the Player’s Facebook or Instagram username and comment; in the case of the winner and reserve winners, their name, email address, telephone number, and the data necessary to fulfil tax obligations.
The purpose of data processing is to organise the Competition, notify the winner and award the prize. The legal basis is the Player’s consent, which is given by submitting a comment (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), whilst for data required for tax purposes, it is the fulfilment of a legal obligation to which the Organiser is subject (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR).
The Organiser shall delete Players’ data within 30 days of the prize being awarded; the Organiser shall retain the winner’s data for the period prescribed by accounting and tax legislation. A Player may withdraw their consent at any time by deleting their post or by turizmus@hajduszoboszlo.hu in a letter sent to that address; this does not affect the lawfulness of data processing prior to the withdrawal, but the Player will no longer take part in the prize draw thereafter.

Facebook and Instagram
The Game is not sponsored, endorsed or administered in any way by Meta Platforms, Inc. (the operator of Facebook and Instagram), and Meta Platforms, Inc. accepts no liability in connection with the Game. Players provide their personal data to the Organiser, not to Meta.
Other provisions
The Organiser reserves the right to amend the rules where justified, or to suspend the Competition; it will provide information on this in the post announcing the Competition and on this page. Any rights already acquired will not be affected by such amendments.
