If the building could talk, it could tell a lot about Hajdúszoboszló's past, but since that's not possible, we'll tell you a little about the building. From the 1850s onwards, thanks to the development of the railways, the small town in the lowlands underwent radical changes. Thus began the construction of the then known as the Bull Inn, which opened in 1860. It took its present form in 1871. Today, the building has been renovated both inside and out and is now known as the Nelson Restaurant and Confectionery. The restaurant reflects the flagship's crew deck and the pastry shop and private dining room are modelled on Admiral Nelson's officer's cabin.

When you enter our restaurant, you'll be the guest of honour on a real battleship and taste the masterpieces of our ship's chef. The international and Hungarian flavours are paired with a wide selection of drinks, and our trained crew will be on hand to listen to your every wish, so that you can enjoy a different experience every time you visit.

Admiral Nelson's suite is home to our pastry shop, where you can indulge your senses in a relaxing environment. Our speciality coffees and over 60 desserts ensure that you can relax at any time of the day. In addition to the quality of the service, the atmosphere of the place (boat interior) makes it truly unique from other restaurants. In the summer, our terrace is covered with an umbrella and we serve our cake and ice-cream specialities to soft music.
We are constantly striving to maintain quality and expand our range, and as a result we have many returning and satisfied customers.
As a reward for our efforts, in 2010 we were awarded the Shop of the Year award in Hajdúszoboszló, which we are very proud of.
Our air-conditioned 50-seat restaurant and 60-seat function room can be an excellent venue for weddings (up to 10 people), family and corporate events, training sessions, business meetings, surprise parties, press conferences.
