The day of town

Szeptember másodikán ünnepli Hajdúszoboszló városa a hajdúk letelepítését e területen, melyet a város napjaként is ünnepelnek.
Hajdúszoboszló Város Önkormányzata tisztelettel meghívja a város polgárait és vendégeit szeptember 2-án a lovashajdúk Szoboszlóra telepítésének évfordulója alkalmából rendezett ünnepi programokra. Vegyen részt az ünnepségen, emlékezzünk együtt hajdú őseinkre!
A Város napja alkalmából szeptember 2-án 9:00 és 20:00 óra között a Munkácsy-kiállítás kapui nyitva állnak, és a város lakói kedvezményes, mindössze 1000 Ft-os belépőjeggyel élvezhetik a különleges tárlatot.

Értesítjük Önöket, hogy Hajdúszoboszló, Hősök tere – Rákóczi u. – Luther u. közötti szakaszán, 2025. szeptember 2-án 16.45 órától előre láthatólag 18.30 óra közötti időszakban Hajdúszoboszló Városnapi Ünnepség miatt, a Puskin utca – Rákóczi utca – Hősök tere és Luther utca -Bocskai utca, a Kossuth utca és a Gönczy Pál utca Hősök tere felőli torkolata, valamint a Bethlen utca, Szilfákalja , Major utca közötti szakasza teljes lezárásra kerül.

HAJDÚSZOBOSZLÓ VÁROS NAPJA
Hajdúszoboszló városa 950 éves. 1075-ben I. Géza királyunk által kiadott Garamszentbenedeki apátság alapító levelében említik először Szoboszlóvásár nevét. 1606. szeptember 2-án kelt Bocskai István kiváltságlevele, amelyben a fejedelem lovas hajdúit Szoboszlóra telepítette.
