It is one of the biggest gastronomic events in the region, where groups of friends and associations get together and prepare delicious open fire dishes, which can be slambuc or a delicacy made from mutton.

If you like good food, good company and a fun atmosphere, then the Airport is the place to be on 5 September 2026! This is the 26th edition of the Szoboszló Sheep and Slambucket Cooking Joy Day, where the traditions of Hungarian cuisine meet modern entertainment.

This day is not just about cooking - there will be cultural programmes, musical performances and family fun. An event that brings the community together and showcases the gastronomic treasures of Hajdúság.
